Data Sources and Update Frequency

Our data comes from official German sources to ensure accuracy and completeness. Here’s what you need to know about our data coverage and how often it’s refreshed:

Handelsregister (Commercial Register)

  • Source: handelsregister.de
  • Update Frequency: At most once per month
  • Newly founded companies are added within 24 hours of registration
  • Content: Management, Shareholders, Documents and other basic company information

Bundesanzeiger (Federal Gazette)

  • Source: bundesanzeiger.de
  • Update Frequency: Daily
  • Content: Financial statements and annual reports

Our API currently supports the following legal forms:

- OHG       ("ohg")
- e.K.      ("ek")

- Unknown   ("unknown")

We also support the following register types:

- HRA
- HRB
- GsR
- PR
- GnR

Note: The VR register type is not yet supported, but support is planned and will arrive in a future release.
